(Photos by Wes Allison) – For 31 years the Mopar faithful in Southern California have been gathering for the famed “Speing Fling”. This is the largest all-Mopar gathering west go the Mississippi with nearly 1,000 cars, 300 swap meet vendors, and over 9,000 spectators over the course of the weekend. Chrysler Performance West puts on the show and once again this year it returned to Woodley Park in Van Nuys, California.

The crummy-ish weather that SoCal has been experiencing through the first quarter of 2017 was nowhere to be found during the weekend and participants enjoyed side activities like a cruise to Bob’s Big Boy and an all-Mopar track day at Willow Springs.

There were awards and all kinds of prizes distributed throughout the weekend. As usual we saw lots of smiling faces and happy Chrysler enthusiasts. We’ll be back with more photos tomorrow so check these out today!
