With no races to attend and a Thursday night at home last week, we hit the biggest cruise night in the eastern half of the United States which is happily located about a forty minutes from BangShift eastern world HQ. This is the monstrous Mass. Cruisers Association Bass Pro Shops Cruise, a bi-monthly gathering that draws more than 2,000 cars like clockwork from all over New England. There’s exotics, classics, muscle cars, hot rods, junk, imports, and literally stuff we never knew existed or still existed may be the better way to put it.

While Buford T Justice is not running quite yet, it was still a blast to walk the miles of cars at the show and take in the stuff we liked and the stuff we did not. Hopefully it is just because they are six and eight years old but my sons were obsessed with the supercars there. Lambos, Ferraris, and all manner of other huge dollar rides were on display, sprinkled in with ratty Mopars, army trucks, and some pretty hairy sounding pro street machines that definitely had guts (and legal cages).

There’s some old music playing off of speakers that get hung from one of those portable lift things, valve cover races, and each time the meet takes place, there is a “best of” award given out that recognizes the “best” car at the event that week. We were spending so much time walking around we totally missed who took home that hardware. This really is an amazing gathering because you see different stuff from event to event, it is so huge you cannot see it all in a night, and cars from like six states show up just to see and be seen. Here’s my first batch of photos!
