(Photos by Charles Wickam) – We really enjoy brining you coverage of Autorama and World of Wheels events across the country during this time of the year and we know Charles Wickam does as well. He’s hitting the road with the WoW/Autorama crew this year some and this dispatch from Dallas is his latest work. As you well know, these events are more than just car shows with all manner of different things happening from celebrity appearances to a swap meet area, and everything in between. Charles also captures the ageless Gene Winfield doing his chop top deal with a group of local hot rodders. How this man has the energy to continue on the schedule he does we have no idea. Amazing stuff.

So the cars, what about the cars?! Obviously we’re talking about Texas here and not just Texas but Dallas, Texas. This is a state that has hot rods by the hundreds of thousands and some of the best in the whole group showed up to this show. You’ll see all the variety that you can imagine and we especially dig this bare metal cruiser that you see in the lead image above. There’s no hiding anything with Bondo on this bad boy!
