Walking the aisles of a swap meet is kind of like gearhead zen. It usually isn’t about what stuff is, it is about what it could be. That cheap carb that needs to be rebuilt is actually a gleaming piece that will be making your engine roar someday. That tattered old truck is actually a dream rig with a big block and 40 coats of black paint on it. Like spending the day at a junkyard looking at the cars and seeing what could be saved, refurbished, or picked clean, the same is true for a day at an event like the Big 3 Swap meet.

This collection of photos isn’t about parts, it is about cars. Cars that range from absolutely pristine Cadillacs to tattered trucks. Machines designed to handle the sand and rocks and others that are never supposed to dip a toe off the asphalt. They are dreams machines, they are projects, and they were all for sale.
