(Photos by Joe Grippo) – We love this time of the year because our network of contributors fans out and hits all kinds of interesting events and shows. We’re talking stuff like the 2016 East Coast Indoor Nationals that Joe Grippo recently attended. We have been running his photos for a few days and we have finally gotten to the end of the stash and in typical fashion there’s some excellent stuff to look at here. Heck, there are a couple of cars that I am personally familiar with.

The white Chevy II/Nova that you can see the engine of above is one of ’em. I played host on a few episodes of the Menard’s Chevy Series television show on Velocity this year. One of those episodes was the event at Maple Grove Raceway in Pennsylvania. We featured that car on the TV show and boy it is awesome. The whole thing is done to an incredible level of fit and finish and let me tell you kids, that engine sounds like the devil incarnate.
