Gallery: The National Motorcycle Museum Tour Grand Finale Gallery

(Photos by Greg Rourke) – Yesterday we showed you the first of two galleries that our own Greg Rourke shot on a recent visit to the National Motorcycle Museum. There was so much cool stuff that we broke his photos down into two sets and today we’re running the second one. Greg reported that the museum is chocked to the rafters with everything and anything related to American motorcycles and motorcycling history in this country. The displays are neat to look at (you’ll marvel at the board track racer setup in this gallery) and it is always great to see the beginnings of mechanical evolution in ancient machinery.

I am personally not much for modern motorcycles, but old stuff like the Indian hill climb bike and the Moto Guzzi below it are totally in my wheel house. That’s what I have been digging about these photos, just seeing the old bikes with their exposed pushrods and devil may care attitude. When I finally hit the lottery, several old bikes like you’ll see in this gallery will join my fleet. I love ’em!
