(Photos by Scott Liggett) – When Scott Liggett moved from southern California to Nebraska he had to have been wondering what the car culture shock would have been like, right? After all, SoCal is probably the most celebrated hot rodding destination it the country and he never had to deal with winters or any of the other various problems that coincide with living in a place with real weather. We’re happy to report that Scott continues to be surrounded by hot rods, drag racing, and more than enough cool stuff to keep him occupied during the seasons when one can be occupied with such things. Sure, he has winter now but that makes the Spring, Summer, and Fall all that much mo’ bettah!
In this case we’re back with more photos that Scott took at the 2nd Annual Goodguys/Speedway Motors Day in the Hay. This event was held in Lincoln, Nebraska and as you can see, it drew out some of the most fun looking, pro looking, and frankly weird looking stuff we have seen in some time. Goodguys shows are always a trip because you see so much stuff at them you’d likely never see anywhere else. Secondarily, they offer a ton to do. There was autocrossing, live music, a kid’s zone, the Smith collection Museum of American Speed, and even a discount on a Ringo Starr performance was available.
A fun day full of great cars and trucks and Scott was there to share it with all of us!
