(Photos by Chad Reynolds) – Last weekend Chad was at a familiar place. He was pounding the microphone and stomping the grounds of the Goodguys 17th Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals in Del Mar, California. In his time as a Goodguys Autocross announcer Chad has seen the pro touring world evolve from some mildly modified old cars to the amazing heights that it has achieved today and lots of that evolution is rooted in the autocross program that Goodguys has at their events which span all ends and corners of the country.

Away from the autocross course, this show had the things that every Goodguys show is known for. Thousands of amazing cars, a massive vendor midway, and fun activities for the entire family. I have been to about 1% as many of these things as Chad has been to but I can tell you that if you have never hit one of these shows, you need to. There are people who plan their vacations and road trips around the GG schedule and we get it! Surrounded by amazing cars, opportunities to hammer on your hot rod safely, and things to keep the whole family happy and smiling. What’s missing?! Oh yeah…NOTHING!
