(Photos by Bryan McTaggart) – Like our coverage of the Syracuse Nationals, this will be our final photo gallery from the 2015 Tri-Five Nationals. Few shows or events in recent memory have had such an explosive start to their legacy as this one. Tri-five Chevrolets from all over North America literally streamed into Beech Bend Raceway for this event and got the thing off to a running start, quite literally. McTaggart reports that the place was wall to wall cars, there were vendors galore, a bunch of “celebrity” tri-fives like Gary Kollofski’s insane build, Jeff Lutz’s drag week winning bullet and more.
Like the 1932 Ford, the 1955/56/57 Chevy can be built in every way possible. People are still inventing new ways to build these cars and that is what keeps them fresh. Along with everything else that goes along with the tri-five Chevy family there is the introduction of the small block engine that showed up in the 1955 models and completely revolutionized hot rodding and racing in America.
Lots of cool cars, lots of different ways to build them. Check out the photos below!
