2013 NHRA New England Hot Rod Reunion – Our Final Gallery Of Bitchin’ Action Photos!

2013 NHRA New England Hot Rod Reunion – Our Final Gallery Of Bitchin’ Action Photos!

(Photos by Dave Nutting) – We’ve finally come to the end of our awesome photo coverage from the 2013 NHRA New England Hot Rod Reunion. Rich Pasley and Dave Nutting slayed the photo taking duties and delivered hundreds upon hundreds of high quality images that really have a different feel than the typical drag race photos. These guys captured the event in a creative fashion and did BS proud. Nutting only ran away from the wall a couple of times and reportedly is only a couple sessions away from completing his counseling after experiencing a fuel car up close for the first time. Rich was last seen chasing a funny car trailer down the road screaming, “TAKE ME WITH YOU!” His family and friends are concerned.

This last gallery is packed with great pit photos, carnage photos, drag race action photos, and snaps of stuff that is simply too cool to ignore. From funny car bodies on the rack to taco’d front ends, and sideways fuel altered burnouts, you’ll dig this last blast of photos from Epping.

Thanks again to Rich and Dave for slaying it all weekend. These guys are legit.

I saw it all LIVE and was transported back to the ’60s which was not a bad place to be! Gotta love NITRO and those AA/Fuel Altereds.
Also there was a great car show along with the races and I was sorely tempted to bring yet another car home with me to complemenmt my ’56 Ford wagon. I’m doing it up like an old time push vehicle out of the fictional VELOCITY SPEED AND CUSTOM in San Pedro, Ca. Why San Pedro? Because it’s mentioned in ¨”Hot Rod Lincoln”of course. The phone number will be mine from some 40 years ago when I was still living at home and the crew will be Inky, Dinky, and Stinky. Every shop has to have a motto and their’s, emblazoned on the tailgate will read, WE HEED YOUR NEED FOR SPEED!! All that’s missing is a vintage front engined digger and maybe I’ll have one someday. After all, one dragster class winner st Epping was nearly 76 years old so I’ve got some time.
