(Photos by Charles Wickam) – For the last seven years speed freaks have showed up to show off and speed up down the runway at Ellington Airport in Texas. This year we were there. Wickam had a busy weekend following this action and hitting up various shows. He was impressed with some of the 200mph stormers that were attacking the runway and we’re impressed by the cool iron that was on the grounds. Charles told us that there were several 200mph runners in the half mile and they ranged from muscled up imports, screaming Italian exotics, and there were event some trucks in the mix having high speed fun as well.
