Pro Mod Game Changer: Mid-West Pro Mod Series Announces Preliminary Rules, Payouts, Etc.

The Mid-West Pro Mod Series #MakesProModRacingGreatAgain in a move that is like none other. While recent years have seen a flurry of ProMod events, sanctioning bodies, series, etc, not since the Real Pro Mod Association has someone come up with an idea we’re this excited about. Pro Mod has always been the Funny Car of door cars. They are the craziest, quickest, and fastest things with doors and we love them for it. But they haven’t always gotten their fair shake, depending on the event and part of the country they are racing in. But that’s a changin’! The Mid-West Pro Mod Series is coming to a race near you. Notice, I said race, not race track. There will be no Mid-West Pro Mod events. They will be running at your favorite tracks, during your favorite events, and it’s going down street race, grudge race, and outlaw style!

Read the rules below. They are all preliminary, and there is a board that is looking at all your suggestions in response to them, and will take all thoughts, comments, and concerns under consideration.

Guess which ones we’re excited about. Yeah, the fact that there will be a draw for eliminations in one class! Yeah, Cash Days style baby!!! And the fact that ALL Pro Mod combinations can race here and be competitive. And there is money to be paid out! Seriously this thing is awesome and we’re super excited to be a part of it as BANGshift will be bringing you LIVE streaming video from all the events.
