This 1973 Mercury Comet Is Stupid Clean And Would Great With The Front Wheels Up

As in wheelstands baby! Can’t you see this thing on an Outlaw 8.5 or MX 235 tire with the wheels in the air huffing nitrous or taking all the boost you could give it? Some would say that is a horrible idea because it is such a clean nice car. But who says the clean nice car can’t go fast too? And if you do it right this car doesn’t need to be cut up too badly. Plus, since it is a Rust Free California car, there is a lot less work if you do start cutting stuff. Read just how nice this thing is below.

Although this looks like a clean car it is just a “broom peddler’s special” model. ’73 was the first year for the very ugly front impact bumper. Having ordered a ’71 Comet GT new and also owning a ’72 Comet GT I can tell you this green example is a grandma’s car. I think Enzo has consumed too much vino.

Well this is news to me!

A new Ford – is it a posh Maverick by any chance?

No matter, with a Cobra themed small block on EFI and fresh dampers and brakes it would be fine!

Dude don’t know the difference between leather and vinyl….the stock smog 302 a real power house LOL! all in all a nice car. I would love to do a 70’s style street machine with it….high revving, high compression, too much cam tunnel rammed small block, Big n’ littles on Ansens….side pipes….*drool*

“Beautiful rare Forest green color paint”. Sorry Enzo but this is the 2nd most ugly color just below turd brown. Also unfortunately this was a popular color back in the 60’s and 70’s.
