Spend 4.5 minute of your time right now and you will see an entire Top Fuel dragster engine pulled apart and ready to go back together. We knew these teams were fast, but holy crap! Okay, okay, the video is sped up a bit, but still. When you think about what these guys do in a 45 minute turn around, it’s amazing. We’ve been lucky enough to spend a lot of time with several fuel car teams and can tell you that what top fuel teams do between rounds is the most well orchestrated thrash you have ever seen. We’ve been right in the thick of things on these thrashes and have to admit that it’s an amazing adrenaline rush. The pros make this look so easy, but the truth is these teams practice a lot to get this good.
