Aussie Top Fuel shoe Amanda Shepherd did what good drivers do when their car smokes the tires, she pedaled. Unfortunately, in this case the car was in no mood for that and she suffers one of the most spectacular blower explosions we have seen in quite some time.

With the advent of supercharger restraints, superchargers don’t fly off cars like the used to in the old days, and mostly they simply lift off the top of the motor and fall cockeyed back on top of the manifold. In this case, the thing shatters into a million pieces and you can actually see rotors and stuff flying down the track. The blower case literally seems to vaporize.
