After months and months of non-stop work by racers, planning by Hot Rod Magazine staff, and anticipation by fans like all of us it is GO TIME at Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week 2014. Hot Rod is putting on an awesome live stream of the whole event which will go live each morning before we start racing and stay hot until the lanes are closed and the event packs up to move to the next track the following day. This will be the best way for you to see exactly what’s happening live and in living color! Freiburger, Finnegan, and Lohnes (me) will be your hosts with the most all week and frankly, there will be nothing better in the known universe to watch than this. Why?
In pre-race testing Tom Bailey went a 6.52 at 226mph, Jeff Lutz has been in the six second zone, and there’s a lot of thrashing going on with the Larry Larson/Chad Chevy truck as I write this on Sunday night. The whole thing is wide open and we really have no idea how any of it is going to play out. To say that Sunday night feels like the night before Christmas when you are about 10 years old would be the understatement of the decade. We’re bouncing off the walls!
We’ll update you each day on where we’ll be and when we’ll start but this train will pull out of the station on Monday morning and it won’t stop until the close of the heads-up shootout on Saturday!

Yeah, what gives – I have to watch it after the live feed ends – I’ve really enjoyed it so far, but not this evening – can anyone else see this ‘private video’??
