While the ADRL may be dead and buried in an unmarked tomb at the bottom of the sea, it is important to remember the legacy that it left wit respect to Pro Mods. The organization certainly kicked the number of racers in the class to another gear with its big cash prizes and the few year run of highly attended shows that had fans falling out of the stands and drivers clawing at each other to get into the shows to race in front of those packed houses. It is all gone now with vestiges of the organization like the upstart PDRA trying to reclaim some of that glory but it ain’t the same. This video is from the 2011 season, before things went totally sideways.

The guys at the ADRL who made this one did a bitchin’ job of channeling the feel of the old Diamond P videos with the musical sound track and the way the footage is edited. We wish like hell that Steve Evans could be narrating the crash-fest as he did so well in the famous …and they walked away series.
