(Photos by Joe Grippo) – Just about a week ago, our man on the Pennsylvanian scene Joe Grippo attended the Glory Days nostalgia drags at Maple Grove Raceway and sent us a boatload of photos from the strip, the pits, and the extensive car show on the grounds at Da Grove. Today’s gallery is a look at the car show and you’ll be drooling over all the period perfect race cars, barn find looking muscle, and restored pieces that don’t have so much as a hair out of place. When we see a gallery like this one it makes us question what we really like best.

There’s such a spread of the semi-crusty looking stuff and shined up, sexy, restored iron that we found ourselves looking at cars like the one above and saying, “If we ever found something like that we’d never touch it.” Then we get to looking at stuff like the Olds 442 below and think, “Yes, that is totally our jam.” The beauty is that we’ll probably wrestle with this internal debate until they stick us in the ground decades in the future. Until then, we’ll have lots of fun staring at cool cars and arguing with ourselves. We bet you’re fighting the same demons!
