Holy Freakshow! This Homebuilt Hot Rod Packs Twin Big-Block Fords And Straight Moves!

The twin 429 cubic inch Fords that power this freakshow of a hot rod might be the third most interesting thing about Littrell Family Racing. This is just one vehicle out of a fleet of race machines and handcrafted vehicles that they’ve put together. You can tell that early Fords are the inspiration behind the designs, but after that…it’s what they fab up and make, including the tow pig truck packing a 6V53 Detroit. But it’s the twin-engined racer that caught 1320Video’s eye, and for good reason: two 500 horsepower big Fords isn’t something you see everyday, let alone working in tandem in the same vehicle. Watch the car as it launches and tell me that the 1.2-ish 60 foot times aren’t impressive. The other rod, which “only” packs a 580ci mill, is just as impressive, and you’ll get to watch it take on Larry Larson’s S-10. The S-10 might have the oats to fly down the track quicker, but for the first few feet, it looks like the hot rod got the jump. Either way, lots of creativity in this group…we dig it!

  1. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

After a hard day labouring in the crystal meth mines the Flintstone Racing team just needed to blow off some serious rubber smoke!

Awesome guy, awesome team set up and awesome tow rig!
