(PHOTOS BY GREG ROURKE AND BOB CHILUK) – We’re back with more sweet, sweet action photos from the  Meltdown Drags 2014 that happened at Byron Dragway last weekend. With more than 500 cars hitting the strip throughout the weekend and all of the other craziness, it was a fast paced and busy couple of days. The boys did manage dinner with Ron Leek and Ed Iskendarian one night, proving the level of cool that was present at this race. With a strict adherence to rules that keep cars newer than the early 1960s outside the gate, this thing is old school to the core. Wait until you see the pit photos coming tomorrow.

Lost os smiling faces. lots of happy racers, and the track made money. Imagine that! Greg and Bob are already counting down the minutes for the 2014 running of the event and we may be doing that as well. Hopefully!
