Sweden: land of Ikea, meatballs and ABBA, right? True, if you’re sticking to the stereotypical jokes, but if you actually think they are true, do you have another thing coming to you. From the Vikings to a legion of heavy metal bands and their fans, Sweden is known for appearing to be sensible and sane, yet when you get beyond the appearance, things can get wild in ways that are both terrifying and awesome. 1320Video has unleashed more footage from their trip to Sweden and the cars do not disappoint in the least. These guys make no bones about what the goal is regardless of what their setup is: shut up, line up, and kick some ass. It’s the spread of the cars that always gets us when we look outside of the United States, and Sweden doesn’t disappoint there, either. As usual the Swedes carry on their Chevy addiction to the point of putting a SBC into a Ford. Which makes me mad as when they use their imagination they can turn out such wonders as that amazing Volvo 7 series.
I’d like to see a SAAB 96 with a modern SAAB turbo motor tuned to the gills and driving the rear wheels – but those dumb rutebakers would just put a SBC in there..
