(Photos by Wes Allison) – While the cars in the “wire wheel pit area” (as Jon Lundberg would say) garner lots of the attention at the famed Good Vibrations March Meet, it is the door slammers that serve as the backbone of the event. These full bodied cars run in classes that range from mild to completely nuts and put on one hell of a show while doing it.

Because this race has such international prestige, guys and girls will haul their junk clear across the continent to compete and boy is most of it beautiful! In these photos you are going to see some amazingly well crafted and hard running cars. Heck the Barracuda in the lead shot seems real nice but there’s an obvious issue happening in the photo. It was too dramatic to skip!
