Pro Mod Video: A Look At The Upcoming 2017 J&A Service Company NHRA Pro Mod Class With Lewis and Brian

The J&A Service NHRA Pro Mod Series is back and better than ever for 2017. With an expanded race schedule bringing the number of races to 12, revised rules that allow the nitrous cars to weigh a bit less and the blower cars to make some more boost, new faces like Stevie Jackson and Larry Morgan, the return of Shannon Jenkins as a driver, and more story lines, this is going to be a bust out year for the class. I’ll be returning to my role on the Fox Sports TV show which will air on both FS2 and FS1 throughout the year. Each race will be broadcast on both networks if my information is correct.

In this video, NHRA stat man Lewis Bloom and I chat about the upcoming season, some of the things to look for, and we share some thoughts on what the year will look like. Gainesville will tell some big stories for the class through how the teams perform. It is fair to say that the NHRA pro mod has never been as popular among fans and racers as it is now. Some high profile drivers last year, some high profile wreckage last year, and some high profile personalities as well.

I’m counting the seconds ins snowy Massachusetts until  I get to hop a plane and head south of Gainesville, Florida for the first race of the J&A Service NHRA Pro Mod series. I didn’t make any predictions on a winner in the video and I am not doing one here!
