Street Car Super Nationals 2015: More Photos From The Pits – Up Close And Personal

In any form of racing, all the work of value goes on in the pits. That’s where the majority of races are won and lost. You can have a great driver but if you miss the setup when you are at your trailer, the guy is going to be at the mercy of whatever happens to him. This is especially true in the style of drag racing that the Street Car Super Nationals specialize in. Minute adjustments in weight, engine timing, tire pressure, and other factors can turn a run from a tire smoking mess to a world beating charge. This is another collection of photos from the pits at the Street Car Super Nationals.

Boosted engines, nitrous fed engines, and even a few naturally aspirated mills are shown here and those engines are in lots of different types of cars. From the full tube pro mods to the machines based on far more stock suspension and chassis setups. Hell, there were leaf spring cars running 4.30s in the eighth mile at this place. That’s wild!

Take a virtual stroll through the pits and let your fingers do the walking as we show you more of the big field that assaulted the strip in Vegas.
