This footage from Huntsville Dragway, featuring a slammed Dodge Challenger equipped with an A-833 4-speed, is good stuff. The car has got the good looks of an early pro stocker and with 451ci of bored and stroked Mopar wedge under the hood, it moves out. The person who posted this on YouTube claims that the car leaves at eight grand, and by the sounds of it, he ain’t kiddin’. There’s a bunch of tire under the back and the driver still manages to touch all four gears in the eighth mile with room to spare. At the time this was shot, the car was running into the high five second zone in the eighth mile and ripping 60′ times quicker than 1.2 seconds. That is leaving like you mean it!

Since we’re staying in room 451 at the hotel we’re calling home this weekend, we thought it only right to throw some Mopar action up sporting the same displacement. This car is really cool and in a sea of Novas, Camaros, and Mustangs, it is always fun to see a Chrysler product hammering the drag strip with a four gear in it.
