Watch A Twin Turbo Mustang Wheelie The Length of An Eighth Mile Strip!

Eddyville Raceway in Iowa is a well known eighth mile facility that hosts some killer races like the Fuel Altered Nationals. In this video you won’t see header flames, but will see the most awesome small tire wheelie you’ve laid eyes on in a while. The car featured is a Terminator style Ford Mustang with a set 10.5-inch tires bolted to the back of it and a very powerful twin turbo race motor bolted in the front. We’re guessing that this is a twin turbo big block style mill, but that is a blind shot, so if we’re wrong, tell us.

Like most turbo cars with small tires, the launch is fairly soft and then those twin chargers start force feeding the engine and things get busy in a hurry. In this car the car pretty much dead hooks and starts to pull the nose, the driver pedals it to settle it down and it climbs right back up to the sky again. That skyward stance is carried for the whole 660ft length of the course, or damned close to it!

The car does not sway, wander, or move. Sure the guy did get kind of lucky because often time runs like this result in a wadded up race car, but damn it sure is fun to watch!

Press play to watch the most impressive wheelie that you’ll see today!
