Watch This Classic Ford Falcon Make 2,000hp On The Hub Dyno – Goes 7.0s at 200+

We have showed you Aussie drag racer Steve Bezzina’s Ford before but we have never shown it to you like this. In the video below you’ll be able to watch this Classic Ford Falcon make 2,000hp on the hub dyno. The car runs X275 down in Australia and has been in the 7.0s at more than 200mph (quarter mile). We dig the fact that he kept the complete factory look on the exterior of the car right down to the paint and the trim. One of the reasons people love cars that run in the small tire classes is that by and large they still look like the cars they started life as. Without having to hack the back of the machine up and with rules being tightly regulated, the creep into “weird stuff” has been kept at bay.

In this video you’ll see the little monster and its turbocharged small block Ford engine bolted to a hub dyno. The first couple of passes are gentle ones and then the guys really let the car chew. After a couple of 1100hp rips they make 1800hp, 1900hp and then blast right past the 2,000hp mark. Apparently the dyno was reaching its limits and they decided to call it quits after reaching the 2,000hp milestone.

The video says that the car was being tested on about 10psi of boost LESS than it normally runs at the track. This is one car we’d love to check out in person. Classic looks, killer performance, and 2,000hp at the wheels. That’s 100% BangShift approved!
