When you combine the prodigious power made by modern turbocharged drag racing engines with the amazing traction of a well treated strip, you end up with cars literally levering themselves right off the ground at speed. As we have shown you over the years, turbo cars can get on their haunches at any point on the track whenever a driver lays the pedal flat. In this video we get the perfect storm of a hard charging turbo car, a famously tractive drag strip and a high speed wheelstand/bounce. The Mustang comes out of the hole and starts to climb the ladder, coming way up. The driver pedals the car, is slams down and just after it slams down and begins to rebound, the driver decks the gas pedal again. The perfection of the timing of these actions leads the car to literally jump all four off the ground at a very high rate of speed. The slight may not be high but it certainly travels a pretty long distance while airborne.

Huntsville Dragway has seen a lot of crazy and cool stuff from the legendary Rocket City Nationals top fuel race to small tire and pro mod insanity has never had a car fly like this one, land on all four, and roll of the end of the track like nothing happened before or since this video was shot.
