We met Javier Padron at the Street Car Super Nationals last weekend and he told us that his YouTube channel is a pretty buy place and boy, he wasn’t lying! Javier has a ton of videos that range from great drag racing stuff to car show videos, to truck and tractor pulling, mud trucks, wreckage, and on the edge driving like is showcased here. The driver of this Camaro definitely attended the school of “never lift” as the car he’s driving hikes the front end on the hit of the throttle and carries a massive wheelie down the track. The downside of the wheelie situation is the fact that the car is moving tot he left the whole time those wheels are up and by the time he lands, he is VERY tight to the center line.
When he lands, rather than lifting the pilot drives the car like an absolute boss and “saves” the the run to the tune of a high nine second run. There are plenty of ways that this could have gone wrong but the guy kept his foot planted and just hammered the car through. If he had lifted or whomped the throttle while doing all this driving we may be talking about a different scene, but the pedal never left the carpet and the driver certainly earned their pay on this run alone.
From wheels up and flying to wheels down and steering, this is pure entertainment.
