Watching This 10-second 6.0L, 5-Speed Camaro Getting Ripped Through The Gears Is Good For Your Soul

We’ve showed you video of Matt Walter’s Camaro before but this fresh one is his best one yet. The car is a Camaro packing a 6.0L LS engine and a five speed manual transmission. On this pass, Matt runs deep into the 10.70s and the engine sounds like absolute singing perfection as he heads down the course. While some of you may hate LS engines or Camaros, let’s just look past that for a second. Press play, close your eyes, and simply listen to this car work its way down the track. No matter your engine preference, you have to respect a dude running 10s and rowing his own.

Matt is a second generation drag race and you have to recognize the last name Walter as his dad Mark is the guy that streams tons of drag races on MotorManiaTV and has been a great friend of BangShift over the years. Obviously Mark raised the kid right if this is how he is spending his time, right?

We’re going to stop yapping and tell you to press play below to get your daily dose of gear banging goodness. Even if you are a Ford or Mopar guy you’ll dig this. The noise alone is flippin’ great!

haha, yup. it’s got the good-ole thirdgen steering column wobble. i’ve been in it a couple times to get it tightened up with little/no luck. it’s probably time to go to a non tilt column and removable steering wheel soon.

I don’t recall the article saying I was a shifting god, lol. I still have less than 30 passes in a manual transmission car…ever…
