…and now for something completely different. How awesome is this build coming from the shop of Webster Race Engineering who are the crew responsible for brining other notable cars like Andy Frost’s Red Victor 3 and others to life. This Bentley is freaking awesome and so far, tons of work has gone into getting it to this stage. The body is wrapped around a full tube chassis, there is a big block Chevy engine positioned under the hood and while we don’t know for sure, we’re going to guess that said engine will have a turbo of two bolted to it for maximum levels of awesome and horsepower. Riding on the back is a set of drag radial tires that look beyond cool tucked inside the gently curving fenders of the big buck British coupe.

We were tipped off to these phtos on the Webster Race Engineering Facebook page by reader Brin Nixon and we need to reach out to the crew at WRE to see exactly what the plans, goals, and backstory is with this car. Among other cool bits and pieces are active aerodynamic aids like a wing that comes up when certain speeds are achieved to keep things happy and under control at the big end, carbon fiber parts, and other trick pieces that they haven’t even thought up yet at the shop. The cool thing (for us) about seeing a car like this done, which we don’t think has ever been done before is the fact that we see innovation an creativity in problem solving and making stuff work. When there’s no kits or pre-made part, the project really becomes a showcase of the capabilities of the workshop doing the job and these guys certainly have their act together!
