(Photos by Wes Allison) – We are back with more fun and frivolity from the 2017 Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals at the Pomona Fairplex. There are people that bag on this location for car shows and then there’s everyone else who understands that it is one of the coolest venues in the country to check out awesome iron. There are multiple shows per year at this place and every one of them is loaded with the types of cars and trucks that we all dream about.
The 2017 Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals certainly kept up the quality of the cars at the Fairplex and we were there to see it all. Rather than run our mouths forever, we’re just going to tell you to check out the images below and see ’em all!
The Jag’s pretty cool. I’ll never forget walking into the Ramchargers shop and seeing a Jag in the back. It looked a little odd, so I walked over to see what was up. I looked inside, and it had a B&M 60 series shifter in it, and as I looked forward through the windshield, found what it was that looked odd. That center hood bulge was raised. That damned XKE coupe had a Ramchargers 426 street hemi in it!
