(Words and photos by Dave Nutting) – Alright boys and girls, we’re back with yet another gallery of muscle hustling ’round (And sometimes plowing through) cones at the inaugural Speedway Motors CAM Challenge East SCCA autocross. For Sunday, clouds and rain were the buzzwords of the day. The three run leadoff stayed dry, but as you can see from the later photos the rain did come and it was only thanks to a watchful James Bishir that I was not taken out by a Pontiac Solstice with a full head of steam. As Lohnes will attest, keeping an eye on me is a full-time job, especially around vehicles. I ‘m like a small child, really.

I can’t stress this point enough: CAM Challenge East was an amazing event and if you couldn’t make it the first time, be sure not to miss it next year!
