This Air Cooled Porsche Would Be One Hell Of A Fun Race Car!

It’s a bit outside of our price range, but what isn’t. Other than that, this 1990 964 Porsche is awesome. And by 964 we mean 911, because that is what all air cooled Porsches are in our book. Okay, all of them except the 930 Slant Nose which may be my favorite. Of course with less than 1000 of them made, we’ll never afford one. But I digress. This 911 is one bad ass machine, having racing history but with a real title since it started out as a street car. This makes it much more fun in our book as we’d be road racing, open road racing, and autocrossing it as much as humanly possible.

This one has SCCA logbook documentation, has raced vintage rallys, and even ran the Targa Baja California rally last year. It’s got only 7000 miles on the rebuild and we’d own it in a heartbeat. Wouldn’t you?

Selling my modified 964.

It has 133k original miles on the chassis.Engine and transmission overhauled approx. 7k miles ago.
Recent PPI shows excellent compression and leak down on all 6 cyl.
Never in an accident,clean Carfax record and clean title.

Sunroof coupe with rebuilt sunroof mechanism,new 993 cables,rails and sliders.

    Nice looking car except for the plumber’s pipe insulation on the cage. Get rid of that shit an go with SFI quality.

    Nice pie in the sky car. Been a closet Porscheafile forever. Other than my lack of funds, and old ass that I know would never feed thru that dash bar to seat ratio I’d be all over that. Oh, and the horrible door panel and seat fabric choice…
