There are a lot of people who make claims as to the performance numbers of their cars. And some big portion are all bullshit. This is not one of those cases. This car has been featured in multiple magazines, makes well over 1000 horsepower at the tire, and has been clocked at 202 in the standing mile even though it was only allowed to run 200. That 202 run was cruising to stay at 200. The real capabilities of this sucker are in the 215 plus range. Check it out.

Hey everyone,
I have a pretty unique vehicle for sale here. This is a highly modified 1999 Camaro Z28. This car was professionally built by my shop, JFR Motors, to compete in standing mile & half mile racing. It could be set up for drag racing with a different gear ratio and a softer rear suspension. It has a 408ci fully forged LS engine with a custom all-billet Comp Turbo 91mm Turbocharger. The last time it was dyno tuned it made 1050rwhp. There have been some upgrades since then, and it now makes about 1150rwhp. It has fully upgraded suspension & driveline to match.
The car has been featured on the cover of GM High Tech magazine, and was also in Car & Driver Magazine. It has been in numerous different online articles as well.
It has been 202.5 MPH in the Mojave Mile standing mile. It beat Car & Driver’s Bugatti Veyron (a 2 Million dollar car) at the same event. The Camaro was limited in the class to 200, but it should do 220+ in the mile in its current setup.
There is over $70k invested in parts on this car, NOT INCLUDING labor. To have a car built like this it would easily cost over $120k.
The reason I’m looking to sell the car is that with my business I own, I don’t have time to race anymore, so I’m looking for a different project. I’m not in any rush to sell the car. I am open to negotiation, however keep in mind I will not entertain low-ball offers. I’m looking for serious buyers only. This vehicle will not pass a smog test in California, however it would probably be fine somewhere like Texas or Arizona.
Car runs flawlessly and sounds amazing. The odometer just hit 100k, however most of the vehicle, (including the engine, turbo, and drivetrain) have been within the last 5k miles. It is a fantastic car to drive on the street, and it still gets over 20mpg highway. The power comes in predictably and the car is easy to handle.
Here’s what’s NOT perfect on the car:
Moser rear end likes to seep a little oil (they all do)
Speedometer stopped working, I can have it repaired before sale.
Some of the Vinyl Wrap on the exterior is getting a little rough (but hey, it’s a race car)
With a total value of approximately $120k, I’m asking for $60k. Included with the purchase price, the new owner will receive a comprehensive overview of all modifications and maintenance procedures, and technical phone support for at least a year. Also included is a metal case with 2 GoPro cameras, and lots of accessories to film your races!
Also would consider trades / partial trades for a C6 Z06 Corvette or Cadillac CTS-V.
