I travel a lot. I mean a lot a lot. No matter how you get there, whether by boat, train, car, or plane, if most people travelled like me they wouldn’t want anything more to do with traveling. Well I’m a little different. I do get bored making the same trips over and over, like the drive from home to Las Vegas, and I get tired of the hotels and the same old same old, but I love a road trip. When you can stop and see things and enjoy it, there is nothing cooler than seeing the face of America while driving. And it really doesn’t “matter” what you are driving, although I think Chevrolet had it right when they said you should “See the USA in your Chevrolet”. You can have as much fun as anyone, regardless of your ride, but the photos won’t quite be the same.

That’s why when we got this video sent to us by RTC, aka Hapu, one of our BangShift LIVE gang, we knew we had to share it. This is how you take a road trip. It doesn’t matter what the hot rod is, but when it’s a 1972 455 H.O. Pontiac Trans Am with an M22 and some gear in it, it is extra special. 3500 rpm at 70 mph means you take time to see it all, because you can’t scream by it at 80mph or go 300 miles between fill-ups.
