How Far Can You Go With A Mazda Miata? As Far As Your Imagination Can Take You!

How Far Can You Go With A Mazda Miata? As Far As Your Imagination Can Take You!

The Mazda Miata is almost thirty years old. The little roadster that gets panned for being cutesy, the reliable version of what the Brits first made popular, the sleeper track weapon…the Miata is many things to many people. They are a canvas to have a ball with, and I highly suspect that in time they will be viewed as an approachable, useable and worthwhile classic vehicle. But right now, that time hasn’t occurred, and modifications are encouraged, whatever the flavor. Want to jam a V8 in there and create your own modern-day Cobra or Tiger? Go for it! Want to make that thing corner as if it’s magnetized to the track? You can do it!

And if you want to go full-kill awesome, you can do what David has done with his car. He’s owned it since new and apparently hasn’t left well enough alone. The windshield frame and vent windows are untouched…nothing else is. From the interior to the running gear, body and even glass, this Miata is customized to David’s needs. That’s the beauty, the true beauty, of a Miata: make it yours. Just make it move like it has a purpose while you’re tinkering with stuff!

Awesome and not a Chevy motor in sight!

All that’s needed is a start-up fund to produce simpler fibreglass body kits retaining that cool modular top idea. Then watch the dollars roll in!

~W ell, I guess 3 generations of my family are going to Hell? GrandDad’s first truck for his new delivery business was a late ’20’s Chevrolet and have been ever since. Wow, thats a lot of people going to Hell Geordie. There’s all my Aunts and Uncles and cousins and nieces and nephews……not to mention my sisters and my wife and children……

Don’t let Geordie get a rise out of you. He’s like the Piers Morgan of this website.
