Fried Turkey: Watch This Corvette Explode During A Burnout Contest And Then Burn To The Ground

As we told you earlier, we’re going to throw some “Turkey Day” content at you because between beers, burps, and football games you are going to need something to get you away from the family for a few minutes at a whack. The thing that sucks about this video is that the Corvette looks to be a really nice car. The paint looks good, the motor sounds healthy, it has some sweet wheels on it with low profile rubber, and it seems to be owning the burnout deal until out of nowhere it is instantly engulfed in the flames of hades.

We’re thinking that the car had an electric fuel pump because something keeps feeding the flames long after the fireman is on it with a big hose and about six million gallons of water. The jet of flame you can see at one point seems to indicate that fuel is still being pumped into the inferno. The fireman and a bunch of on-lookers scramble to get the Corvette extinguished by even by the end of the video the car is still in flames. Fire safety tip of the day: Never fry a turkey on a wooden deck or structure and always remember, your Corvette will burn like a stack of oil soaked rags if it gets hot enough.

Be safe out there and keep a fire extinguisher handy…or in this case one of those airport foam trucks!

i can understand how a switch can be usefull in preventing a fire, can you explain how it helps after a fire has started? are you thinking that an electric fuel pump might be still pumping away here?
