A Look Behind The Scenes At Roush-Yates Performance: Engines, Cars, Parts For Days

A Look Behind The Scenes At Roush-Yates Performance: Engines, Cars, Parts For Days

(Photos by Joe Grippo) – This week is kind of turning into “what Joe Grippo did on his Spring Vacation 2014” and that is OK with us because Joe did some sweet stuff during his time in North Carolina. Yesterday we showed you his trip through the Richard Petty Museum and today we’re showing you what he saw at Roush-Yates Performance in Mooresville, North Carolina. The Roush-Yates name has long been known and feared in stock car racing but in more recent years there guys have become a big name in both drag racing and street performance as they have broadened their business to bring in those two big hunks of the market. If you’ll remember, Steve Matusek’s Mustang was powered by a turbocharged Roush-Yates engine and their mills can be found in many other serous drag machines as well.

All that being said, these guys are still known for their NASCAR stuff and Joe’s photos will show you why. When you see how many control arms are built and on racks along with brake rotors, axle housings, and other pieces, you’ll flip. If production of every part ended tomorrow, these guys could still field 20 cars just on their spares! The engines are true eye-candy as well, especially if you are of the Ford persuasion. It isn’t every day we get to show you this kind of stuff and we’re eternally grateful to Joe Grippo for sharing his images with us so we could post them here for you to see!
