In less than three weeks, the Circuit de la Sarthe will become an echoing melody as sixty racers take to the tarmac to run the 24 Hours of LeMans. Among the Porsches, Audis, Ligers and other machinery will be Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTEs like the one in the video below. This particular V8 Vantage, driven by Richie Stanaway, Jonny Adam and Fernando Rees, will compete in GTE PRO with the likes of Ferrari 488 GTEs, Corvette C7.Rs, and the much anticipated Ford GTs. All eyes will be on the Fords, but all ears will be overwhelmed with the roar of the cars in unison. Luckily for us, “19Bozzy92” caught #97 making some practice laps at Monza in Italy. Hearing the A-M rip around the track, it becomes very clear why James Bond always goes for the posh supercar…uncorked and tuned for the track, the Aston sounds ready for war! The all-aluminum 4.5L V8 bellows like an angry mob on the charge, with sharp bangs with each shift. This is British anger on display for everyone to see and hear…will it be enough to worry the other cars in class?
