Photo Bomb: A Load Of Great Images From The AMA Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame

(Photos by Joe Grippo) –  Lots of BangShifters are motorcycle or dirt bike guys and Joe Grippo is among them. Proof? He recently visited the AMA Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio to see all the cool stuff inside. Thankfully for us, he brought along his picture taking machine and sent along a great dispatch of images from his visit. From classic racing motorcycles to iconic machines like Evel Knievel’s various bikes and memorabilia the place is jammed wall to wall with the great machines that define motorcycling culture.

Personally, I have never caught the motorcycle bug but I have always had an affinity for the types of iron that you’ll see in the photos below. Their shapes and basic toughness are appealing to me in the same ways that muscle cars are. Maybe that sounds weird and maybe your attraction is completely different so I am interested to hear about what draws you to these two wheeled terrors.

Thanks to Joe for the awesome photos from the museum and hall of fame. This is 100% BangShift approved coolness!

Just so we get to see more cool bikes , I like bikes too.

The HD XR 750 screams pure race bike to me. Dirttrack as a whole is really an incredible sport.

As I type I’m less than 5 miles away from a real RS750 Honda, another beautiful racing machine.

All the 2 stroke 500’s are a whole nother thing…..

Great pics. Man I might have to add this one to the bucket list. The Hurricane did it for me.
