This Supercut of 2016 Macau Crashes Lasts Longer Than Some of the Races There

People will forever call the Macau Grand Prix a variety of nicknames, from stupid to grueling to futile. Because of the close confines, no margin for error, and dicey passing opportunities, you can pretty much expect to see yellow flags at least once in a given race. This year proved no exception with the incredible circumstance of Laurens Vanthoor winning the GT World Cup race on his Audi’s lid and the featured Formula 3 race with its own insane crash. That, however, was just a taste of the drama from the various races across the weekend in the tiny Asian island country.

This smashed-together video gets all of the crashes from the touring-car races to the F3 insanity. It’s all crazy and shows just how insane the conditions for racing in Macau always are. Even when everything’s going right, the slightest understeer into Lisboa corner will inevitably block the entire entire track when the cars behind pile into you. It’s a mad, mad racetrack and it’s the kind of insanity that you just can’t miss out on.
