Funday Friday Video: 14-minutes of Vintage Trans-Am In-Car Video = Awesome

Mike Skeen is a very capable young road racer who competes in a variety of series across the country. He runs Trans-Am, the Pirelli World Challenge, and any other venue that will let him behind the wheel. He’s a guy in his mid-20s whose name we’ll surely be talking about for decades to come. In this video he’s wheeling the Cragar-backed 1969 Vintage Trans-Am Camaro and doing a fine job!

The race you are about to watch was run at Mid-Ohio Raceway in June of 2011 we think. As you will see in the video, there’s a great variety of cars on the track and Mike certainly holds his own in the venerable 302ci powered machine. Mike was born about 15 years AFTER this car was built in the factory. How wild is that?!

This is a 14-minute in car opus. Grab a cold beverage, the bottle of Jagermeister our of your lower desk drawer, or just jack up the speakers and watch Mike Skeen carve corners!

Lighten the springs, then the car won’t hop around like an old buckboard. You will be able to put the power down sooner on exits.
