The Tour Continues: More Great Photos From the AMA Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame

The Tour Continues: More Great Photos From the AMA Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame

(Photos by Joe Grippo) – Lots of you really enjoyed the first round of photos that Joe Grippo submitted to us from the AMA Motorcycle Museum and hall of fame yesterday so we’re back with another blast of photo greatness featuring (mostly) two wheeled machines from the history of motorcycle competition and even a few oddball three wheelers that will get your interest up, we’re sure. The AMA Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame is located in Pickerington, Ohio and it really is a destination that should be on every gearhead’s “must see” list.

Like any hall of fame there are plaques and memorials to the great riders who accomplished feats of speed, endurance, bravery, or longevity but what kicks this place up about 100 notches is that unlike other halls where you you stand and look at leather helmets and bloody socks, this place is packed to the gills with great motorcycles. Hill climbers, grand prix racers, desert bikes, and stuff that pretty much defies description all stand proudly with information and gleaming paint. Grippo really enjoyed his visit and now we’ve got it on our (ever growing) scroll of places we need to check out sooner rather than later.

Rather than keep on rambling, we’re going to tell you to check this gallery of photos out. You’ll love ’em!
