The wreck is so crazy, so over the top, and appears so violent as to be fatal we need to let you know that the driver lived. Sure, he was pretty busted up and is sure to be recovering for a long time, but he survived and you’ll think that is an impossibility too once you see the footage. This is the nightmare scenario for any racer. You’ve achieved terminal velocity on the long straight and when you hit the brakes to slow for a sweeping left hander, the pedal goes limply to the floor. In a race car that weighs 2,000 lbs you’re going to be bouncing off walls. In a race truck that weighs 12,000lbs, you’re going to go through them…like this one does.

Making matters worse, when the truck goes through the wall it launches off what is essentially a tree filled cliff and ends up on an access road on the other side of the woods! You’ll see still photos of the truck in completely annihilated form with the cab ripped off, the engine totally torn out, and every other panel in disarray.

Since this type of racing has been long dead in the USA, chances are you’ve never seen anything like this before. We certainly haven’t.
