So here’s Chris Cabe sending me links to some of the coolest wreckers for sale in the country while I’m flat on my back trying to get the brakes working on my own man-sized Tonka toy 1968 C50. I glanced at the note he sent me and decided to click the link. What I saw when the thing loaded made my eyes bug out like a cartoon character being hit in the back of the head with a shovel. This truck is so flipping cool I cannot stand it….mainly because I cannot afford it. The truck is a 1968 Dodge WD 300 with four wheel drive. I am not sure who made the single boom wrecker unit on the back but it looks great, especially with the knobby, narrow, old school tires filling the flared rear wheel openings.

This is a very unique truck, in like- new condition. I only used it in parades, but it is fully serviceable. There are only 31,050 original miles, with straight bench seat, 318/200 HP engine, manual 5 spd transmission 4 spd manual PTO, No Rust,battery tender, electric cooling fan, pinto & receiver hitches, Lg. aluminum tool box in the back of the truck.

Tires are in great condition & extra tires & tubes are included. A 7 1/2′ straight hydraulic plow, 8,000# electric boom winch w/ 15,000# bull winch, 3 spot lights and many other new parts have been added to this truck to keep it in up to date and fully usable condition.
