(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, we’re back with more cool photos from the recently held Brazoria County Mud drags. This MRA sanctioned event brought all kinds of iron out of the woodwork and Wickam was there to see it all in action. Dig the photo below with the rear engined truck standing nearly vertical…on mud. The power to weight ratio on many of these creations has to be crazier than anything else in motorsports because after all, they are small and look to weight virtually nothing. Combine that with the fact that it seems like you need to show up with a big block of some sort just to be let in the gate, you get where we are going.

Reportedly, Charles is still finding mud stuck to his gear, his beard, his truck seats, and whatever other exposed surface he had around them the day he was at the course. Having never been to the mud drags, seeing his photos makes us really want to go bad!
