It Might Not Be The Prettiest, But We’re In Love With This Laid Out ’62 C10

It Might Not Be The Prettiest, But We’re In Love With This Laid Out ’62 C10

We know that the laid out look is not for everyone. We know that some people just don’t get it. And that’s okay. But we love it. Seeing a car or truck, that has the right look, laid on it’s nuts is awesome. Such is the case with this cool 1962 C10 Chevy Pickup. If it was at standard height it would be a cool old truck, and if it was lowered even 4-6 inches it would be a really cool lowered old truck, but setting it on wide whites on the ground makes it that much cooler. Once it’s painted it will be even better we’re sure, but for now, we’d drive it just like this. Plus a ton of the hard work has been done and there are a lot of new parts you wouldn’t realize are on it if you didn’t check. And it comes with even more!

There is a built 283 cubic inch small block under the hood, that’s got a Lunati cam, along with an Edelbrock intake and carb, and Hooker headers. A Turbo 350 and a 12 bolt posi round out the drivetrain and there is too much suspension to even mention right here. We like some of the cool touches, and really dig the blue interior as well.

Take a look and check out all the photos and information below.

Selling my bagged C10. Lays frame hard, very clean and solid. Mix of patina and primer, only rust is on the roof in a couple spots and I have an entire roof skin that comes with it. Surface rust on the hood from being blasted and not primed. All original sheet metal minus the front fenders. Floors/ cab corners have been replaced, everything else is very solid. Firewall is smoothed, Porterbuilt hood hinges to clear the tires. There is new Precision door rubber on the cab, doors shut solidly and have Bearclaw latches. Have a huge parts pile that will be included if price is right. Registered w/ black plates. This is a great patina style cruiser with loads of expensive parts and fab work done the right way. Gets lots of attention whenever it goes, always surrounded at shows. Pictures tell the story, ask if you have further questions, I have full history, specs, and receipts for entire build.  Questions?  Ask away. . .

Truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to remove the eBay ad at any time if necessary.  Low ball offers will not be responded to, thanks for looking.

No inner fender wells so unless its driven only on dry days the motor will be swamped in seconds. The bed looks hideous with the uncovered wheels and to me the suspension looks lopsided at rest. Also this “patina style look” is wearing as thin as a hobo’s boot soles and looks even worse on anything made after the 1950s. If it was painted flat black and the fender wells were reinstated it would look lile a million dollars – but it still wears that cursed bow tie….

Chad, if you’re in love I don’t want to judge you.
But keep it up and we’re going to have to have an intervention.

If you want a vehicle that low to the ground, buy a fucking car! This makes as much sense as a Clinton or Trump Presidency.
