The Eburg 9000 John Deere Tractor Pull Race Block Is Here

Designed for, and legal in NTPA and PPL pulling events, the new Eburg 9000 is the ultimate tractor block for those using tractors based on John Deere models. Eburg Components is the brainchild behind this sucker, and all casting and machining is done by Cunninham Precision right here in the good old USA, which is awesome. This Dry Block is specifically aimed at Pro Stock and Super Stock JD pullers and is based on the popular John Deere 9L platform.

The new Eburg 9000 is a dry block design so that the engine builder can take advantage of different sleeve designs, and of course the increased cylinder load capacity that comes with the additional bore stability. It features and integrated deck plate, cam bores that support multiple configurations, and 6 bolt mains that increase clamping by 100%.

The increased rigidity of this block also makes all other components live at this power level. How much power will it hold you ask? How about 3,950 horsepower! We think we need to see one of these in a land speed car, where weight doesn’t matter. This sucker is a bad ass. Check it out.

Chad: Methinks asking one of these to go FIVE MILES down the long course at WOT under load might be asking A LOT:)
Water jackets may not be necessary for pulling a sled, but are a good idea for LSR!!

Danny Thompson managed to set a record with no water in his engines this past August. Carbureted gasoline might be one thing, but the high fuel volume of injected alcohol and nitro engines do a pretty good job of pulling heat out of the engine.
