Watch this video and you’ll understand why we love desert racing so much. This is the relatively smooth sands of Glamis, but this truck airs it out hard over a bunch of cross roads and then, after a few checks of the testicles, throws it to the wood and tries to jump Seifert Canal at Glamis. By the beer math, using truck lengths as a guide I’m guessing the water is a good 65 feet across and the total length of this jump is more like 100. And there isn’t much of a ramp. It takes some stones to pull this one off, and just maybe a bit of dumb and crazy. We’re in!
